Remnants of Entwined — Triptych transforms salvaged steel remnants from Charles Gadeken’s ENTWINED into three hand-welded compositions. Working with the material’s existing cuts, voids, oxidation and irregular forms, Afatasi reorganizes industrial remnants into a new visual language while preserving evidence of the material’s previous life.
