Cityscape III continues the series’ portrait of San Francisco through steel, skyline, and fog. Tall, irregular openings create a continuous city horizon beneath a layer of hexagonal mesh that represents fog moving across the city. A celestial body appears partially obscured along the horizon, while sweeping lines of steel move through the fog above it. Heat markings, oxidation, and the remnants’ existing cuts remain visible, bringing atmosphere and material history together within the landscape.
