Cityscape II continues the study of San Francisco through a skyline partially enveloped by fog. Vertical openings rise beneath layers of expanded and perforated steel, while a celestial body appears at the edge of the horizon, caught between visibility and concealment. The salvaged steel’s existing voids, oxidation, and heat markings become both architecture and atmosphere, turning remnants from the fabrication process into a portrait of the city.
