Diasporic Futurism @ Root Division

This exhibition took place during Covid and was part of my Black Space series, which includes my short film Black Space. It was the first time I created the Afronaut space suits. The exhibition showcased both the costumes and the three-minute film, which grew out of a photo series about the disappearance of Black culture in San Francisco.
