The Afatasi Universe exists to transform lineage into living culture.

The Afatasi Universe is the artistic framework through which Afatasi practices her philosophy of Fine Arts for Reparations.

Created in response to the ongoing cultural loss and displacement of San Francisco’s Great Migration community, the framework creates enduring systems through which culture can be practiced, inherited, and carried forward across generations.
